A seldom-visited pocket of Franklin (Tenn.) battlefield


Take a walk with me on hallowed ground where Confederates faced a "withering fire" during an attack on the Federal left on Nov. 30, 1864.

    Thanks for this unique look at a portion of the Franklin battlefield. I had ancestors in the 29th Alabama (Walthall's Division).
