Henry Aldrich, a 41-year-old blacksmith from Bristol, Conn., was killed at the Battle of Antietam 151 years ago today. He left behind a wife and four children. Aldrich, killed in John Otto's cornfield, is buried in the Connecticut section of Antietam National Cemetery.
