Mr Banks, I am looking for a confederate soldier by the name of Johnathan Thibeadoux, I have been a on a few sites and have had no luck, I have no relationship to him other than Just recently his name has popped up in conversation and dream twice in the past week, now I am looking for any information I can find on him. can you recommend a place to start?? Thank you for your time.
Maybe this will help. Frequently the names are misspelled. I found a J B Thibodaux (Enlisted 1862, Private La Fourche Reg, Militia, D-W), J O Thibodeaux (Enlisted 4-1-1862, Private, LA, CO A, 10th Batt. Infantry), J O Thibodeaux (enlisted 1986 2nd Lt, 10th Bat Infantry.

15th for your works! I was excited to find your site as I wanted to glean more info on my GGF Mir Edward Spear Jr..... 1st Lt.14th OVLA, Cpt. 15th OVLA, and Mir. Paymaster for Tennessee Vol Army. Sadly I do not see his units listed here. We do have a plethora of information, artifacts, and diaries but I am always searching for more. Warm regards

Looking for info on John McGraw (McGrath/McGraugh) 2nd CT Heavy Artillery Co F. John was wounded at Cold Harbor and died at White House June 3, 1864. John, his father Patrick and 2 brothers, Edward and Andrew all were in the same division and Company from Canaan CT. All came home except John. I would like to know where John is buried? christinecapolupo@comcast.net
Thanks for this awesome resource John. For anyone interested I completed last year the first regimental history of the 65th NY Volunteer Infantry, also known as the 1st U.S. Chasseurs, after many years of work on it. It is called "No Flinching From Fire," and it is available on Amazon.
