After an 8-inch snowfall Friday, we can find some pretty interesting scenes around Avon, Conn. The football field at the high school is covered with snow and a thin layer of ice. Looks like I was the first to walk across it this morning as there were no footprints anywhere.
I was at the original Ice Bowl in 1966, Green Bay vs. Dallas. Interestingly enough, that game was played in Morgantown, W.Va.
