Here's where Justus Wellington. a private in the 15th Massachusetts, crossed Antietam Creek on Sept. 17, 1862. Justus was killed in the West Woods, probably later that morning. Another "great" picture using my cellphone camera. Nope, that's no an alligator in the photo. Looks like one, though!

An Antietam scene
