Fall in Connecticut

The trees are turning various shades of orange, red and yellow here in Connecticut. We're told told the colors aren't as spectacular as usual because of A) not enough rain this year or B) global warming or C) both. For us former Texans, it's just swell.

The first time you fell in Connecticut you probably were stinkin' drunk.

Yes, in the country where real (ie. not chopped up and used for barbeque) trees grow we see these sights each year. But I'm sure the eyes still moisten at the turning colors of the mesquite and sagebrush.
